It's FREE to enter your vehicle if your application is successful!

There is no cost to put your vehicle in the show - that's right, it's FREE if your application is successful!

Not only that, we'll shout you 1 weekend double pass for each successful application - available to collect at registration on setup day.

Once you're set up, there are to be NO vehicle start-ups or movement.
Official start-ups may happen during the Show, but you must speak to us before the event if you'd like to be involved.

On Sunday, no pack-down or vehicle movement is allowed until the event closes to the public and you're directed by the Premier Events team.

You can bring one helper with you for setup.

Need more? Extra Friday-only helper passes can be bought at Registration for $15 each (these won’t give access on Saturday or Sunday). This helps us manage numbers inside the venue while it's classed as an active worksite.

Important:

• Enclosed shoes are required.
• Anyone 16 and under must be with an adult at all times.

We kindly ask you to not release pictures of other displays or parts of the show until after gates open to the public.

Please watch out for ticket scammers - only purchase your tickets from our official ticket outlet, or grab your tickets at the gate.

Here's what you can expect on Friday Setup:
Enter the venue and you will be directed to the registration desk

At Registration, stay in your vehicle and we will collect your drivers licence to mark you off the list. Here is where you'll pick up your weekend wristband.
Our team will direct you to a safe place to unload your vehicle and direct you to your allocated spot.

If you have a large display, please arrive early on as you may be able to unload directly on your site inside the halls if space allows.

Sites are a blank canvas – it’s all yours to make it stand out.
We don’t allocate anything, so bring your A-game with the setup! If you're not supplying your own carpet or flooring, your space will be on concrete.

Sites are not fenced off! Bring your own bollard/fence if you wish.

Please make sure you use your full allocated space.
Your setup, theme, and how your vehicle is displayed are all part of the judging – so go all out and make it count!

Power is not included with show sites (unless you're on a trade site).

If you need power, the venue electrician will be onsite during setup hours. Power can be supplied directly to your site at a cost of approx. $75–$100.

Health & Safety Notice:
All plugs, multiboards, and electrical equipment must be tested and tagged.

Note: Powered sites are positioned along the wall, meaning only 3 sides of your display will be open to the public.

Judging will take place on Friday night, with a judges’ briefing beforehand so you can ask any questions.

Categories and criteria will be announced soon – keep an eye on our website for updates.

To be judged, interiors must be unlocked and bonnets/boots open. You’re welcome to close them again before the show opens on Saturday morning if you prefer.

All displays in ELITE50, SHOWCASE, SPEEDZONE, CAR CLUBS, etc. will be judged the same and are eligible for the same awards.

Judges’ decisions are final.

Sponsor thank-you boards and livery/stickers on your vehicle are absolutely fine.

However, we kindly ask that no business signage, banners, or flyers are displayed or handed out during the show.

If your sponsors are interested in being involved more officially, we have a range of trade and sponsorship options available - just get in touch.

Due to the size of the event, the addition of the Live Action Arena, and the need to maximise public parking, there is no trailer parking available on site for entrants over the weekend.

You may temporarily park trailers and tow vehicles during setup hours, but all must be removed by the end of Friday.

If you're arriving by car on Saturday or Sunday, please note that on-site parking is paid and managed directly by Auckland Showgrounds.

To avoid parking fees, we recommend using the free roadside parking on Puriri Drive, just a short walk away.

Premier Events NZ Ltd reserves the right to decline entry if standards are not met.

• Engines must remain off during the event and vehicles cannot be moved until after the show has ended.
• Keys must not be left in vehicles at any time.
• Entrants must follow all staff instructions and behave responsibly. Unsafe or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the event.
• Security will be onsite all weekend. However, organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, or theft.
• Any person(s) may be held liable for damage to property, fittings, or surroundings – including fluid spills.
• By entering, you agree that your vehicle may be photographed or filmed for promotional use.
