Chrome SHOWCASE is where automotive, lifestyle, and entertainment collide!
2025 set the benchmark. 2026 raises it again.

NZ’s top show cars will go head-to-head for the most prestigious SHINE awards in the country.

Alongside this is a carefully curated lineup of features, supported by a selection of NZ’s leading brands and traders, with worldwide media coverage across the weekend.

Not sure where to park this weekend? Here are your options at the Auckland Showgrounds:

1): In-venue paid parking – Enter via Gate 2.

2): Backup paid parking – Available via Campbell Cres (next to the Blues HQ). A rear entry and ticket booth make it quick and easy to get into the venue.

3): Limited free roadside parking – Available along Puriri Drive. Use the rear entry for faster access.

Disabled parking is available on-site – just let the gate team know if you require it.

Getting here couldn’t be simpler – we’re located just 1.5km from the Greenlane exit off the Southern Motorway.

Using public transport?
The Auckland Showgrounds is a 20-minute walk from Greenlane Train Station, with bus stops located right outside the venue.

On-site car parking is managed by Auckland Showgrounds and a fee applies.

There is limited free roadside parking available along Puriri Drive.

Paid parking is also available via Campbel Cres - a side entry is available for ease of access.

Disabled parking is available on-site – please let the gate team know upon arrival if you require access.

All tickets purchased online before the end of July go in the draw to win a double weekend pass to the Chrome Horsepower Festival at Hampton Downs.

Tickets will also be available at the gate.

Please watch out for ticket scammers - only purchase your tickets from our official ticket outlet, or grab your tickets at the gate.

You’re welcome to bring non-commercial food and drinks into the venue.

Please note: This is a strictly alcohol-free event.
Security will be checking vehicles and bags. Any alcohol found will be confiscated and will not be returned.

There will be a range of food vendors available on the day.

What not to bring:
Please do not bring pets (and don’t leave them in cars), alcohol, gang patches, weapons, illegal substances, or drones. This is a family-friendly event and security will be onsite to keep everyone safe.

Service animals are welcome. Please have proper identification or harness available if needed. Please note the event may be loud at times, which could affect some service animals.

Bags and vehicles may be searched on entry.

Yes – Eftpos and Paywave (surcharge may apply) will be available at the gate for ticket purchases. Most vendors inside the event will also have Eftpos or Paywave, but we recommend bringing some cash to help speed up queues and in case a vendor doesn’t accept cards.
